Chanel Tweed Pink Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duot Review & Swatches

Chanel Tweed Pink Les Tissages de Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect ($45.00 for 0.19 oz.) is a soft, light-medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a satin finish with faint, silvery micro-sparkle. It seemed to have more of a subtle, satiny shimmer once applied and blended out rather than more visible sparkle. The texture was soft, finely-milled, and a little powdery in the pan, but it applied evenly and blended out with ease on my skin. The color coverage with medium, buildable, which was as described, and seemed to darken slightly after initial application. It wore well for eight and Continue Reading…

MAC Pink Sprinkle of Shine Set Review & Swatches

Pink MAC Pink Sprinkle of Shine Set ($49.50 for 0.34 oz.) is a new, limited edition set exclusively available at Macy’s, which contains new shades of Extra Dimension Skinfinish and Dazzleglass with a new, larger fan-style brush with synthetic bristles. The set also included a zippered pouch. Starquake and Unleash the Stars performed consistently with their formulas. The brush has only gone through an initial review, as the set released for the holidays, and it seemed to be made fine, felt soft, but if I was thinking of a brush to include in a set, I would have gone with a more classic tapered highlighting or domed blush brush. 5 0 Pink Pink A- Limited Edition Where to Buy Affiliate...

Fenty Beauty Ruby Richez Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter Review & Swatches

Fenty Beauty Ruby Richez Killawatt Foil Freestyle Highlighter ($36.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a medium-dark red with warm undertones and a pearly sheen. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, while the texture had a smooth, creamier feel but was a bit thinner than most of the Killawatt range. The finish seemed more pearly initially but seemed to intensify and looked shinier once blended out. It seemed to have some slip, too, so it worked better over just-powdered or drier skin than dewier skin (whether naturally or by virtue of base products). It seemed a bit patchy when I Continue Reading…

ColourPop x Pony Park Sugarcoated Super Shock Cheek Review & Swatches

Colour Pop Sugarcoated Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a medium pink with subtle, warm undertones and a matte finish. It had buildable coverage from semi-sheer to semi-opaque applied with a brush, and semi-opaque, buildable coverage when applied with fingertips. The texture had that velvety-smooth feel to it, where it didn't have any wetness to it, but it had some glide (almost like a silicone-based primer). It was easier to apply and disperse the product and get more blended edges using fingertips over a brush, as the latter gave slightly uneven application. The blush stayed on well for Continue Reading…

ColourPop x Pony Park Simply Sweet Super Shock Cheek Review & Swatches

Colour Pop Simply Sweet Super Shock Cheek ($8.00 for 0.15 oz.) is a soft, pinky coral with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had sheer coverage applied with a brush that was buildable to semi-sheer coverage, while application with a fingertip yielded medium coverage. The texture was smooth to the touch, denser, and more like a velvety primer, where it feel wet or emollient but wasn't dried down. I find that application with the more matte Super Shock Cheek shades to be a bit less forgiving, especially over base products. This shade applied best with fingertips as the warmth Continue Reading…
