OFRA Sea Shimmer Highlighter Review & Swatches

OFRA Sea Shimmer Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a bright, light copper with warm, rosy undertones and a high-shine, metallic finish. It was a shinier, more intense highlighter that emphasized my skin's natural ever-so-slightly when worn alone had higher coverage. The consistency was smooth, almost cream-like, and felt very finely-milled without being powdery. It picked up well with a brush and applied evenly to bare skin, blending out with ease. It stayed on nicely for eight and a half hours before fading a bit.

Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder Review & Swatches

Fenty Beauty Trophy Wife Fairy Bomb Shimmer Powder ($28.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a rich gold with strong, warm orange undertones and a pearly finish. It ran a lot warmer-toned (less yellow-gold) compared to the original Trophy Wife Killawatt Highlighter, and the finishes were quite different; the loose version had a similar gold shimmer but it was much finer, so it had a softer glow overall. The texture was finely-milled, silky to the touch, and it very easily came through the sifter. There's an included plastic stopper that is included inside the box packaging that can be pressed over the Continue Reading…

It includes a warmer gold and paler, white gold both with more sparkling, lightly metallic finishes. Both shades were very pigmented, while the texture was smooth, blendable, and easy to work with (no powderiness!). Duo de Camelias (Left) is a light gold with moderate, warm yellow undertones and a sparkling, lightly metallic finish. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer that applied evenly to bare skin and blended out Continue Reading…

OFRA Moondance Highlighter Review & Swatches

OFRA Moondance Highlighter ($29.00 for 0.35 oz.) is a pale, yellow gold with strong,w arm undertones and a smooth, metallic sheen. It had opaque pigmentation in a single layer, and it had the intensity and ease of pick-up that made a little go a long way. The texture felt like a cream-powder to the touch, so the powder was smooth, creamy, and had no powderiness or excess kicked up in the pan. It applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily without emphasizing my skin's natural texture. It wore well for nine hours before fading noticeably on me.
