Balmain S20 Runway looks with an 80's feel!

Oliver Rusting Balmain Paris Fashion Week S20 Collection

Flash back to the 80's and Paris Fashion Week when Balmain showcased their Ready-to-Wear S20 looks that showed bold geometric shapes and bright hues!

When it comes to the runway, we can be sure that designer Oliver Rusting of Balmain Paris never disappoints. His fine touch of edgy, classy and sophisticated looks is one of the reasons why we love this designer. Each look is breath taking and tailored to perfection with every seam in place. The pops of color and the use of geometric shapes reminded us of the classic 1987 film, Mannequin staring Kim Cattrall.

As seen in the photo above, the 80's decade was dedicated to bold colors, acrylic accessories and who could forget the use of geometric shapes. From circles, to rectangles and triangles, these shapes are iconic fashion statement of the past that have made a unique modern appearance in the Balmain S20 collection.

What we love about Oliver Rusting designs are the exaggerated cuts and angles that show off a women's inner edgy confidence with a feminine masculine grace. We also enjoyed seeing the use of bold shapes on each piece that brought back memories from the 1987 film the "Mannequin."
